our hens don't eat worms. but they attack other crawly things, i thought one hen was going for my foot. and i was wearing flip flops too, then i saw the bug barely. it was gone in a flash

Thanks guys! You probably can't see in the pictures all the mistakes we made. Our mantra was "the chickens won't care". And they don't.

About bugs - we have a couple that will eat bugs, but the other three just play with them.
