it's not very good for baby puppies to hold it for too long, but basically have her sit and then lure up and back so that her front paws are off but she's still sitting on her butt
then gradually increase duration and add a cue and hand signal

No way she’d be able to do it yet without flopping onto her back… I’ll let her grow first haha.

Truman flops backwards. I do it every week or so to see if he can do it without flinging himself backwards. Not yet.

Truman Is also a solid 40 pounds lighter than Finn. Its easier for the smaller dogs

He also had trouble on slippy floors so I did it on carpet until he got it
