Males will be bigger, so if they wanted smaller, they needed to order one of the females.
We like large too!
Our two dogs who matured at 80 pounds, weighed 20 pounds at eight weeks, and slightly over 30 pounds at twelve weeks. One was a Chessie, the other a GSHP.
Your puppy isn't really huge in comparisln.

His parents were 60ish pounds for the female and 75ish pounds for the male, as opposed to others that had parents in the 80s or 90s

Our last golden was around 100 fully matured, but both of his parents were around 90, so we're not sure what's going to happen.

Brewster was 13.1 at 9 weeks, 16.3 or .4 at 11 LOL he’s probably over 20 now he goes again next week.

Be ready in case he needs a bath.

He might pee or poop in his carrier, depending on how long the trip is, and there's a chance he might get motion sick and throw up too.

(Of course, he could also arrive perfectly clean.)

If he's clean, we'll let him (supervised) explore and calm down a bit before doing anything overwhelming like a bath, but if he needs it we'll do one.
