My *very official* socialization program before he's cleared to go on walks and be near other dog poop and pee and stuff is get him tired out, have him go to the bathroom, then put him in a tote bag and carry him around the neighborhood so that he can get used to new sights and noises

Perfect! I took Rosie everywhere in her purse and stroller. Until covid happened, now she's scared of little dogs and not at all scared of big dogs lol

Sounds good! We are going to do something similar with our spoo puppy. We have a stroller and a dog bike trailer.
