First $400 egg

My first egg came today without fanfair. 20 weeks and 2 days. Only one seemed ready and after I showed her the nesting box, she proceded to give me a nice sized brown egg. She's a RIR. Hopefully there will be more soon.

You got off cheap! I think my first egg will cost close to $2000!

I don't know if the eggs get any cheaper!!
Spent $40 yesterday on feed and wood shavings.
Out of the six girls at the moment only one is laying

But yeah I will continue to kid myself that I am saving money
