i turn mine every 8 hours....they say to do it either 3 or 5 times....an odd number....i do mine at 11am, 7pm, and 3 am

you need to turn then at least three times a day, i like to do more, if they were under a hen they turn them once a hour at lease mine do.

Ok Thanks everyone! My AG teacher here at school told me to turn them once, but the paper that came with the incubator said at least 2-3 times a day and at the same time. So thats why before I go to school I turn them. I'm really hoping these hatch...but hopefully I don't get any boys or I'll have to get rid of them.

The least you should turn them is twice, and then make sure it is every 12 hours. The more you turn them the better. The automatic turners turn them 6 x's a day. Like the1much said, just turn them whenever you think about it. I turn mine between 3 & 5 times, somedays 3, some 4, rarely 5, and hardly ever at the same times as the day(s) before.

I'm thinking about getting an automatic turner this spring for if I get eggs. I tried to get my mom to turn them every 6 hour which she is afraid of breaking them.

Just candled them again to see how they were doing and they very active! It almost seems like Im going to have Happy Feet chicks! instead of penguins!
