If you could, it would be fun to get different breeds of chickens and you will have a colorful mix of chickens. Have fun selecting!
I have several chicken enclosures on my farm (as I do not let my chickens free range because of all the hawks, foxes, raccoons, etc.) Two of my pens have one rooster with two chickens. This has worked out fine for years. It depends upon the rooster.
