Here are some pictures of the coop I built. Pretty new at this chicken thing. My chicks are just about 6 weeks old and will be going outside soon. We have had very cool and rainy weather here in NY.

I built three doors one pop door and one large clean out door that has a hardware cloth screen built into it. hope you can see it in the pictures

This one has all three doors open.

And this one shows the side nest box collection top opened.

You did an excellent job... great looking coop. Your chickens should be very happy there.

It looks like you have a rooster there peeping out of the nest box! Cute one too!

Thank you. that little roo is my youngest. He almost never leaves my side. The girls are in it now. I have it in the garage until I complete the run. But they are much happier in the new coop over the extra large rubbermade brooder they were in. Oh and the guy in the background is a friend that came over to check out the coop.

The trim still needs to be done and some touch up paint. But overall I'm very happy the way it came out. Many of the tips and ideas came from here. What a great place to learn about chickens!

6 feet wide 4 1/2 feet deep and 6 feet tall in the back. Not including the nest box which is 3 feet wide and 14 inches deep. I dont have pics of the inside now but I will update this at a later date.

Great looking little coop. I didn't notice any locks on the doors. and egg box. I hope your planning to put some on. Coons can open that nest box as easily as you can.

Very nice job! Looks like you had a good helper there!
