I hate that about heat lamp bulbs. I always keep at least three because it never fails, the first goes out within the first day. I can't tell if it's just the bulbs or if it's the fixtures doing it. I need to go through and pull the little metal tabs out further on all my fixtures and see if that works. You gotta watch those things like a hawk the first week.
