Congrats!I was really surprised at how long it took mine to lay. I know they are not production breeds but the first EE was at 24 weeks and my second was at 28 weeks. Someone pointed out that EEs can be a mix of any kind of chicken bred with an Americauna. So, apparently my two are very different. Still, 28 weeks is soooo long! Ah well, here is the beauty my little Sunshine gave me right before I left for the holidays (it is green, hard to show in lots of sunlight)
