Here's a pic of an egg I found this morning. I have only one 28-week-old white leghorn in my flock because I heard they are egg laying machines and thought that through the winter I could probably count on her, right? She started laying at 20 wks and started out laying most days. Well, she is on a streak right now of 15+ straight days of laying!! At least that's when I started counting. So the big white egg is hers and the other is from my SL wyandotte who is 1 1/2 years old. I know it's a double or triple yolker which would be her first time laying one. It looks like a duck egg. The thrill just never gets old of finding eggs each time I head to the coop!!!

I found my FIRST EGG this morning in one of their nests.

My chicks are exactly 4 months old!! I saw one of the white ones in the nest again before I left the coop but there was nothing there when she got off but she must be thinking about it.

Marcy, one of my ISA Brown laid a jumbo egg again today. This time it was 90g. Last one was on August 31st and was 84g. She is on a 60 day streak!

It's my barred rock! I caught her this morning she laid the first egg a week ago then 2 in a row!! Woohoo!!!!
