It looks like you have 3 layers now. The top 2 look to be from the same pullet, the bottom right is different in shape, which usually indicates a different pullet laid that one.Well my first egg was from a Delaware, the next day I got another egg, but when we took it out of the box, a barred rock was sitting on it, maybe she is laying too? I wasn't able to check her vent. Then today (day 3) I got another surprise from an EE. The first two days bounties are on top, todays are below. Now I have enough for each of us to have one for breakfast tomorrow. I am sooo excited!!! The wait is worth it! The other awesome part is so far every egg has been laid in the nesting boxes. Smart girls!!! By the way they are 22 weeks old today and getting 12 hours of light a day.

Yes, that is normal. Egg shells come in 2 colors - blue and white. What you see on the outside can be different. The color on the outside of the egg is the last thing to be added before it is laid.It was almost just as blue/green on the inside, is that normal for an EE?
Congrats on your first ever egg! First eggs never get old, they are always exciting - but the very first one is extra special!Well, since I have been on this thread for the last 10 weeks waiting for eggs, I am going to share a whole bunch of pictures with you!
We finally got our first egg ever!!![]()

Caramel is an Easter Egger and she is almost 27 weeks old. She was making nests in the nesting box and under the nesting boxes a few days ago. Then this morning she started squawking the egg song! We went out and ran some errands and when we came back she had left us her egg. In the last picture, there is a store-bought egg on the right and Caramel's egg on the right. Thanks to everyone for sticking this out with me - SO eggcited!!!

Yep, it's fine.Side question - I assume it's normal to see a little swipe of blood on the outside of the egg when it is their first egg? Like things are still loosening up to let the egg out? I don't have a picture, but it was a very small smear on the shell.
