So here is a picuture of my Snowbird. It turns out my other EE, Blue, was laying again. I guess I'll just have to wait a little longer!

I'm so jealous of those gorgeous cream colored EEs! Every time I buy a chick that looks promising, she turns buff on me. Oh the humanity! lol

I'm not sure if it's helpful, but Yolanda was very light blue/grey when she was a chick.

Hrm interesting. The chick I bought that resembled Yolanda completely lost all her blue. To top it all off, she decided to lay brown eggs.

We got our 1st bantam EE egg 2 days ago!! It's so cute! Love it!

I got my girls from a local guy. I also got a blue wheaten( its the only way I canexplain her color, maybe I have a pic) Well these are the best I found of her but they dont even show her true beauty

Also, I just stumbled across an interesting development this year. Apparently hatcheries are finally starting to listen, and labeling Ameraucanas as a seperate breed from EEs! Wowsers! I just saw them offering Wheatens for the 2013 spring season on My Pet Chicken.

Also, I just stumbled across an interesting development this year. Apparently hatcheries are finally starting to listen, and labeling Ameraucanas as a seperate breed from EEs! Wowsers! I just saw them offering Wheatens for the 2013 spring season on My Pet Chicken.

I saw The wheaten Ameraucanas also and was very excited. I ordered my original 12 chickens from Mypetchicken. They labled the EEs appropriately so I knew exactly what I was getting when I ordered them. I love my EEs.
