No not yet I'm waiting for that first egg. It's been 2 days so far since she started doing the squatting and the yelling I wonder if its like labor pain yelling lol

Congrats!First egg yesterday! Came home after work hearing the egg song to which I ran outside to find a shell less egg that looked as though it was layed earlier in the day. It was somewhat dry and completely smushed with yolk splattered everywhere. I have no idea who layed it despite my suspicions. I served oyster shells and all 7 of my 20 week olds chowed down. One though, kept noshing all night, could she be the one? So today I'm anxiously awaiting another, hopefully shelled egg! Very excited and hopeful for a beauty to show off.
Not much longer!Still waiting for my 2nd EE to lay! It's been 4 weeks since her "sister" started, and she finally seems to be filling out more (28 weeks now). They are eating tons of food and oyster shells... I've gotten a proper crouch for 2 days now, so I'm really crossing my fingers!!!! Want a pretty colored egg!![]()
Congrats!First egg today 8-27-13, I'm a proud parent of my columbian rock cross![]()
Hello there! I've been a member of this site for quite some time, but have yet to post anything. I love coming on here to read about everyone else's chickens though! Anyway....our hens (2 Tetra Tints and 3 Red Sex Links) are roughly 18 weeks now (as of Sunday) and we are anxiously awaiting our first egg! No squatting or singing yet thoughMy other half is more anxious than I about getting an egg...he's been rambling on about an egg breakfast he wants to have before fall LOL! I am dying to go out there and find an egg in our nest box and it's driving me insane watching everyone post about their girls starting to squat and lay!
