Still "patiently" waiting for my girls to lay. Really it's not that big of a deal to me, I'm having so much fun with them anyway, I think I'll probably be shocked when I do see an egg because the time is just flying by! They are almost 19 weeks right now, and I wonder where all the time went since they were chicks!![]()

Hi again! Mine are 16 weeks now. I have seen others that have had eggs at 18 weeks, more on the production reds. I have RIR's and did not expect them to lay until 25-28 weeks. Still, this weekend I am planning to get straw to make the nesting boxes. None are showing a single sign that they are ready to lay. They are juvenile hoodlums at this point wanting to explore and get into every possible thing. What breeds do you have?
