First egg out of my flock of five today. 22 weeks old. The egg layer was Carol, a Plymouth Barred Rock. Pretty perfect little egg. She went in the nest boxes and kicked all the wooden eggs out too!!! I squealed like a little kid on Christmas Day!

Ya free choice and I sometimes put a tiny bit in there food... The hen that layed rubber egg been trying for days now... There also on super layer feed 22 protein and 4 something calcium... Although I may need to pull back a bit on the scratch? I throw a bit out and mix a teeny bit in food so they don't search all day for scratch and not eat...Congrats! Do you have oyster shell available for them?
