Yes. I don't know if it's because it's from 2 different girls or something that happens when they first start laying? If it's 2 girls, then they laid their first, and only so far, on Wednesday and nothing since. Is that normal?

Her paint gun is calibrating Totally normal. Also, once calibrated, she will lay slightly less color on her eggs over the years.

I noticed this morning that the one I think is laying has a beautiful red comb. The other 2 BO's, one is still small and kinda dull and the other is staring to grow and get red. One of my RIR's still has a small comb but the other is starting to grow and nice and red. Is that a good indication of when they are mature enough to start laying?
