We got our first egg this morning. The kids are excited! The lady’s are 21 1/2 weeks old today. Just not sure which one out of the ten laid it!! Haha

Welcome to the first week of egg laying, isn't it exciting. One of mine started Monday and now others are starting to lay, so I'm betting your other girls won't be too far behind.

If I were a betting man, I'd say that white leghorn standing beside the ramp is the culprit; big bright comb on her.

I did a little research and found out that the white leghorn lays white eggs and when I go to touch her, she squats down and stays there until I leave her alone. We are all excited about the egg! Hopefully a lot more to come!
