First Egg !!

Well I have to say we finally got our first egg today !! Pretty sure it was this Barred Rock . Our Black Star and our Barred Rock has been squating and laying around building nests all around the yard .The kids went out and came in screaming that they found an egg inside the run of the coop !! Well here it is ! First of many I hope .

Well we have another first egg !! This time it was from our other barred rock . S

he made a nest inside the coop , right with the golf balls !
It was the size of a silver dollar . This time my daughter found it . The chicken was in the coop for a half hour before she was done !!

My oldest was the same way today, she was so excited to find they egg (our 3rd) also from a BR.
Are your BR cuddlers, my Fiesta just loves to sit on my lap & nap as I pet her.
