Once they start laying how long till production reaches one a day each or close? I've got barnyard mutts that just started laying. They're mainly Barred Rock, Black Sex-Link, Buff Orpington, and a Black Australorp.
I've just started getting eggs and today is the first day I got two eggs. Obviously they're not all laying yet, but I am pretty certain I've got at least 3 laying the little bitty eggs (the size of my aunt's full size bantam eggs). I am just curious how long it takes for production to ramp up. Should I expect like one a week each for a while or what? How does it work at the beginning?
