First eggs just over a week ago, now nothing for 4 days?

Is it normal for them to not lay many at first? We seemed to be getting 2 every other day for a short time (maybe a week), and now we haven't gotten any since Saturday (or maybe Sunday). Is it normal for it to be sporadic when they first start laying? We have 5 hens and a rooster, and we're not sure how many of the hens are laying at this point.

look for a hidden nest, thats the most likely cause of your disappearance, it happened to me, when mine started laying they didn't stop just hid them.
