Congratulations!!Got our first eggs today, one this morning and one this afternoon! They're not real big, when do they get full sized? (All my chickens are White Rocks, about 19 weeks)
Thanks! Do you know if it's possible to freeze eggs, and if so, how long will they last? I do a lot of baking, it would be great to have some on hand ready to go. I heard you can do it if you remove the shells.Congratulations!!
It takes several weeks for the eggs to get noticably larger. White Rocks are great layers.
I know you can. You can also dehydrate them. I've never done either. Thanks! Do you know if it's possible to freeze eggs, and if so, how long will they last? I do a lot of baking, it would be great to have some on hand ready to go. I heard you can do it if you remove the shells.
Cool, I have a dehydrator too.I know you can. You can also dehydrate them. I've never done either.
I’ve watched some great YouTube videos on freezing eggs. Some people put them in muffin tins to freeze them and some people mixed several together, put them in ziploc bags and laid them flat in freezer. I plan on trying this as well, once mine start laying. Supposed to be great for baking but not so much for breakfast. Congrats! Thanks!
