First Eggs!

We got our first quail eggs a weeks or so ago, and I've got 28 from them

Here are some pics

We've eaten four so far

We got our first brown one (in the middle) today. the egg on the right is a chicken egg of course

them legandary rascals that they are

. First eggs are neat , My bobs are almost laying 1 a day now still waiting on my coturnix how old were your birds when they started ?

probally the amount of light they were recieving I had a freind bought EE last fall and the days got short before they started laying so they did 'nt start laying till this spring

My quail hatched around July or august, where egg laying beings to decrease, so it seems like the reason.
