So excited!! We've received our first egg from one of our pullets! [IMG]

Went out just after noon-ish to make rounds. I walked in the coop and there it was on the floor [IMG] not in one of the nesting boxes. I do have golf balls in the nesting boxes and know that someone has been visiting several of the nesting boxes. Unfortunately, I don't know who laid it? It's got to be either 1 of 3 of the NHRs or one of the EE's. What do you think?

Here is another picture of the egg after I cleaned it up and placed it beside a supermarket egg for comparison.

Very nice! It's pretty normal to see an egg here or there on the floor at first. I've even seen them out in the run once in a while with newly laying pullets.

It seems like they all like the same nesting box, and even with empty nest boxes available, they will all wait for this one special nest box......

The egg looks great! Nice size! I hope it's from your NHR and you get a nice green or blue egg from your EE.

    Congrats!
