First Hatch of 08!!!!

one was a white that died shortly after hatch.

gorgous vault!! i'm bummed. the buff baby is all fluffy now and doing great and starting to peck at food and toddle around, but not fully walking yet it's trying.

next one on egg said b/s it's in brooder laying with the buff and in the left of the pic, it's cheaping away,lol. yells everytime the buff moves wrong. there is one hatching now egg not marked it looks splash silkie from what i can see so far and there is more pips.

serama babies there is a white one hatching, 2 blacks died and 2 look like mottled died(one was black white, one was blck/white/brown. down to last serama he's looking strong. so we are praying it makes it.

here is a pic of the 2 silkies in the brooder.

they are pipping and comeing along better now, keep ur fingers crossed for us and our silkies and showgirls are due tomarrow to hatch also.

hello again

still waiting for more to start. I candelled them last night and three out of 4 are still moving good. One isn't moving but looks too big for the shell. I had to throw one out. Momma and baby 1 are doing great

So silkie, how many new babies do you have now? I am getting very anxious. I must have got my dates mixed up or the eggs got cold for the first day or two. Not sure why the others are so late.

my hatch is done i got 4 beautiful silkies. i also got one little sweet all white serama!!!

wow that was a long hatch, hard hatch for all of us,lol.

now the babies are all snuggly and sleeping and tomarrow mine will be hatching,lol.

Awe yours are so cute too. Yes one is very tiny. Mine will probably hatch tonight because I would like to sleep a little more. My little one has already learned to come out from under mama and eat. It hasn't drank any water yet. It sure knows how to get back under mama quick too. So cute.
