First Hatch!

The eggs for my very first try at incubation just hatched this morning (day 20+ 12hrs). 3 out of the 5 eggs (shipped) made it. Out of the 2 that didnt make it 1 was not fertile and the other died with a red ring before day 6. Im very exicted and plan to do this again. This site helped me alot to make this happen. I used the Janoel 12 and only added a teaspoon of water every day since the humidity was all over the place 20%-70% for the first 18 days, temps where kept at 99-100 degrees. during lock down i added 100ml and it never went under 75%. During hatching it was at 83%. All the eggs had bigger than normal saddled air sacks. All 3 externaly pipped early day 20. Again thanks everyone.

Anybody know if its ok to move 3 day old chicks and put them in with 1 week old chicks?

Anybody know if its ok to move 3 day old chicks and put them in with 1 week old chicks?

They should be close enough in age to be put together. Keep an eye on them and make sure the bigger ones don’t bully the little ones.
