That's great!I can hear more peeps from the incubator! One has made a hole!
Glad to hear another hatched...I know how disappointing it is when some just don't hatch. One more hatched, no more movement from the others. Gonna clean up and start over. Thanks for the support soon. as I get a picture of the new chick. I pretty sure she's an Austria white. Australorp X white leghorn. The other ones we have are very friendly.
I didn't even know that was a thing, I guess that's what we should do this time. I went and bought different thermometers today.By these thermometers we were running at 92. I wish I would have bought different thermometers because this Chinese one that came with this incubator failed us. I guess I should get a hygrometer to. Any suggestions?![]()

Ah, that's a shame that the temperature was too low - but at least you know for next time.
I have this one: http://incubatorwarehouse.com/incubator-remote-thermometer-hygrometer.html. The probe doesn't fit through the vent hole in the Hova-Bator 1588 (it also says that on the website), but the hygrometer seems pretty accurate. The thermometer on mine seems to be off by a couple of degrees, though. Ironically, I also have a Vick's thermometer/hygrometer that I use in my refrigerator because the temperature is accurate, but not the humidity reading.![]()
