First incubation

Lost power on day 16 for 4 hours. Temps went down to 72, all still have movement and are going in lockdown. One egg we candles looked different not sure what I was looking at looked almost like two chicks crammed in there.
Gah, Yikes!! Had that happen once, thank goodness it came back on!

The eggs get pretty darn full near the end...good luck!

This is our second batch, the first one didn't go well. :/ glad to say we now have 3 peeping!

We have one that peeped on the wrong end, what should we do? He's moving good but there is a little blood.

Pretty sure it died over the night :/. Its no longer moving :/. Should I remove the dead chick? We have one healthy one that has hatched and several that are peeping.

If you're sure it's dead I'd remove it...but move fast,
not good to open incubator when other eggs are pipped,
the loss of humidity from opening lid can dry the exposed membranes out.

We now have 3 that have hatched, the little serama chicken I was asking about was dead. I removed it and we now have 4-5 peeping hard to see in the bator. Lots of noise and chick movement. I can not thank BYC enough we have learned so much.

Can someone please tell me what causes this? It's like glue. I've saved 4 like this that had already pooped in the shell, we lost 2 including this one. :/
