First night outside report - baby monitor is definitely the way to go

I looked, but couldn't find any where the camera side is battery run. But there are lots of audio/video monitors, available from Walmart, Target, Amazon, even Walgreen's drug store. At Target, all the night-vision ones were online only, not available in stores. So finding a mail-order source should be easy if Walmart doesn't have one you want.

My chicks are in their coop from day one with their brooder. I must admit I have gone out seveal times during the night to check on them.

A baby monitor is a kewl idea!...We just installed a huge window($5 at local Peddlar's Market) facing the house so we can see wassup anytime of day or night!

This pic is taken from outside, but we have a window on the house less than 20' from their window looking straight in it!

We put a log by the window and they sleep there 99% of the time, too cute!
