First Pip was Wednesday Afternoon....

Once they start to zip they are good to go. Just take the whole top off. If you see blood, stop, but thatst very, very unlikely.

Here is a video of the underside of him... can’t make out what this is, but It looks like yolk under where his head is?

Should I continue breaking some shell?

Looks like he might come out when the shell where the x is marked is removed.
His wing looks to be over his head and neck, and It looks like the wing is stuck in place by dried membrane

Looks like it started to zip and got stuck. Just pop the cap the rest of the way off for it and it should be good to go.

Please help— I don’t want to lose my chick :hit

I think she is malpositioned. Her foot is over her beak.

I can tell that her upper body is bent to the left and her head is now underneath her right foot.

You suggested to remove the top, finish zipping

I went a little more and just freed the loose pieces from around her face

What do I do now?? She is not active so much anymore, very mellow

Seems like the membrane is dried to him preventing him from coming out. The 'yolk' you are seeing is likely actually embryonic waste. I would just remove him entirely from the shell yourself.

Sorry, I was out doing errands.

Thanks!! He’s also malpositioned! He is foot over head
