Thank you. I examined it closer with the flashlight and put on my glasses
There's clearly an outward bulge but, it's pipped at the small end

Yes, it’s a pip. If it were mine, I’d give it a while and if it doesn’t make any progress maybe chip off a piece of the shell, if it still doesn’t make much progress you may (or may not) have to assist. GOOD LUCK!!
