Hello there and welcome to BYC! :frow

Oh I am so very sorry! :hugsI have kept lone birds quiet with a 24/7 ticking clock. Very soothing. A quiet radio playing soft music during the day only too. Mirrors help, and spending lots if time with them. Hopefully you can get him some friends soon.

Welcome to our roost! :)

I will sure try it! :thumbsup
Thank you for the ideas!:wee

Glad you're here ! Sorry to hear of your flock loss. :hugs

A must have for your poultry is a FIRST AID KIT for any issues that would arise. (https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/suggestions-for-a-first-aid-kit.1150128/)
It's definitely better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it.

Also, make sure your coop(s) have a proper amount of VENTILATION. (https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...-there-and-cut-more-holes-in-your-coop.47774/) Your chickens will absolutely thank you for it!

So happy to be here!:highfive:

Thank you, i will make sure i look at the poultry first aid kit!:D:)

Oh no! You lost your whole flock!

We have two coops one has not been broken in, thankfully. Our rooster is still there and some more. Over this past week the bobcat has been coming every night not taking scouting out, hoping that was the last of him.:fl
And trying to figure out how to keep him away... only two hens left but that was all of our roosters flock, trying to figure out about putting some hens in.
