First rooster crow

I am just sooooo excited and feel the need to tell the world! My precious Omlet crowed for the first time this morning. I am one proud mama!!!

Just came back in from the barn, let the group out, and my one rooster came outside, ruffled his feathers, stood up tall, and let out a seal bark! Too funny! He is a 9 week old Columbian Wyandotte originally named Daisy, but thanks to the sexing person at Meyer, he is a Duke! I will post a picture of him later...


I hope he isn't one of those all day crowers, as he will have to go as I have a very tenous relationship with a neighbor.

Getting a bit attached to him now that I am over the dissapointment of the gender switch!
