I have list 2 of the mystery breed chickens. 1 was a runt, 1 looked like he had gotten crushed.

1 cx neatie died from shipping stress, 2 drowned, 1 had a heart attack last week and 2 died 3 days ago while I was out of town. 1 looks from a heart attack, the other smooshed from puppy piling as we got a pretty good couple of snows recently. Overall I'm pretty happy with how this batch is going.

I can get meat chicks from Whiting farms on the western dlope of Colorado which have a very good reputation for meat birds that fon't have the problems of the cx meaties. I'm going to give them a go soon.

Better pictures of my CL. Mine are still auto-sexing, but my latest f6 didn't have crests. My ccl come from byc member dretd who is the vp of the crested cream legbars breeders association of America or something similarly titled organization.

Ralph I don't. know where my post ended up.lol I read "somewhere" that one of the main people at Ideal was having.health issues. I don't know if it's relevant to the shipping and availability issues,
Nearly all of the hatcheries are shut down till spring
