So the girls haven't wanted anything to do with the snow since it fell. Today, it would seem the pullets have resigned themselves to having their first winter. I spotted Diana poking around on the snow pile from the area I cleared, and ran in for my camera.

Well, when I got back with the camera, Freema made it clear that she would NOT have snow pictures this year!

Diana was still checking out the snow pile:

Finally, a few of them began following me out into the snow:

Snow looked tasty. They had to try it for themselves:

'This isn't so bad,' comments Wynne:

'And that looks good!' she adds, seeing her friends:

There must have been something good. More takers:

Kate's on her way now:

Freema's changed her mind. 'Wait for me!!':

Meanwhile, Betty took her place on the feed shed:

'Well, would you want to put your bare feet in the snow?':

Moments later, she apparently changed her mind. 'Don't even say it...':

So they ate snow here:

And then over there:

Meanwhile, back at the coop, Cricket has made it clear she won't have anything to do with the frozen white landscape:

Mako is confused. 'Where did everyone go?':

'There are footprints here...' she notices:

'Hey, I see them!' she exclaims. 'But how to get over there..?':

Well, obviously it wasn't acceptable to walk all that way in the snow:

'Ack! Crash landing!':

'...Phew. Made it at last...':

I'm not a real technical person, so I'll just post the mumbo-jumbo on the box.

It's a Nikon D3100 with a AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm lens. I think. (It was a birthday present. I just wanted a nice camera to use with my birds.

My dad knew what he was looking for so he got a fancy one.)
