First snow in NJ - Many more to come

TaLani, we live in N. Clarendon (below Rutland)...in a valley between two mountain ranges. We've driven past Warren often, since it's on a favorite scenic Rt 100 - really pretty in any season, but it knocks your socks off in the fall!

Gee, so many of you south of us are getting snow, but we're still in the rain stage of this storm...don't worry - we'll get ours soon!

hypnofrogstevie, hope your tree makes it through the storm! I take it it's too big to shake off the offending snow?

Well Steve, we're getting sleet now. I'm at work and this office is 1.5 miles from the ocean, at home I'm 5 miles from the ocean. This must be a sign of what's to come this winter!

This is wet stuff tho, I prefer the fluffy white stuff.

Thanks chica. Its 2 years old and about 8' high. Its next to the step where I can brush the top off. It just keeps piling on.

Dont worry luna. If we are getting snow in october. Wait till next month

It's clear and -2.6°F right now. Some clouds at least... ok? When it snows, it warms back up to 25-30°F. Pleeeeeeze?????

I will need some help build 300 foot fans with 100 foot blades. Then attach them to a nuclear power plant then I can blow all this stuff back to you.

You do a very good job. The snow is slowing down a little but the flakes are still big. Its very very slushy outside
