First time angel wing fixer

I have a 6 week old duckling with angel wing. Both wings. I tried the T-shirt sleeve method and it slid right off of her. Tried to tie it, still slid off. So I used self adhering bandage and wrapped it around her body and wings but now I put her back in the brooder and she can hardly stand or walk. Did I wrap it too tight? Is there such a thing? Is this just something they have to get used to not being able to use their wings really while wrapped? She never had issues walking before I wrapped her wings.

Lower the protein of the feed being fed to 16% too..

Yes I’m sorry I did forget to mention that. I did change feed also. Is her balance being affected normal I assume though?

After I wrapped her up she’s having a hard time balancing to walk etc. is it normal to have that at first after wrapping since they can’t use their wings like normal?

I did just read another post on BYC that said the ducks will be off balance and awkward and first so that’s good. I just felt so bad when she was falling around!

Yup....all normal. Ducks use there wings for balance so when they can't use them they are off but she will get used to it.

She should still be able to walk. Can you post a picture of her wrap? It might be too tight around the legs.
