Just had to share a pic of my little Loretta :)
She's nearly 3 wks old. Any ideas on what breed she may be?

She's gorgeous! I don't have enough experience to identify the breed.

She is so cute!! Mine are just a few days behind yours. We have a strange early spring snow so I haven't been able to bring them on any field trips yet. We're thinking they'll be in their outside coop in three weeks or so.

Thankfully the Texas weather has been kind this spring so we can have lots of outside time. They love scratching up little bugs and seeds to eat!

Hey guys, I am noticing one of my 19 day old chicks has very soft/watery poop that is quite stinky compared to the others. We think the breed is Brahmas. I notice some of my Barred Rocks have more firm light brown poo with a white end. I do t know what normal looks like. Any thoughts?

My 7 big girls, 4 Australorps and 3 Buff Orpingtons (6 weeks old) are moved into the coop and doing great.

So my hubby decided we needed 9 more babies! We got 5 Ameracaunas (Easter eggers) and 4 red leghorns. They sure are different in personality from the first batch!!! We chased one around for 10 minutes trying to get her back into the brooder after some sun time today!

Cute chicks!

I have some of my own to show off. Since some of the chicks look identical, I'm just going to post each breed.

Okay, first I have five Salmon Faverolles that I got from the farm store. They apparently had a poo fight this morning, so please excuse the dirty feathers. Oh, and I think this one was a little greedy at the food dish...

Next I have two black Silkies. I have six white ones in my other brooder, so needed to add a little variety to that coop! So difficult to get a good photo of black animals...

And then we have a single supermodel blue Silkie. Total ham for the camera!

And now we get to today's shipment. Here's one of three Crested Cream Legbar pullets. One of them isn't doing so well right now...horrendous watery diarrhea. Trying to keep her hydrated and supplemented now, but it's not looking great. This lady however is larger than the others and doing great.

Here is a Crested Cream Legbar cockerel. Have two of these little guys. Had to show off his little yellow head dot.

And now we get into the rainbow assortment. These guys could be blue copper or splash marans, white/wheaten/black/blue/splash Ameraucana, or Olive Eggers. I've posted them on the breed ID forum to see what they have to say, but if you know, speak up!

Okay, have two of these guys. Black body, yellow belly, chocolate brown face.

This guy is the most amazing chocolate brown all over.

And this guy is a bit smaller, all black except for a small dot of yellow on its chin.

Your blue Silkie is so fluffy! Beautiful! We have 5 Silkie chicks. One looks white, the rest will be buff. We also got 1 Barred Rock pullet. So fun!
