First time Chicky mama

We are new to the chicken world. We recently bought two silkies. They are now about 4 weeks old/. My husband is in the process of building the coop. I have a landscaper coming on Thursday to lay out an area just perfect for our two new feather babies. I am a novice and will take any tips or advice given Here are a few pics

Cute chickies! I would definitely consider getting more chickens to go with your two little silkies. Chickens are the best pet in the enitre world! Best of luck with your chicks! And also chickens are VERY addicting!

I'm so in love already, I'm sure I will get some more once I am confident in my mama chicly abilities so far all in the family are adjusting well accept the pooch. Working on that one

My puppy doesn't like my chickens either she thinks they are the evil birds that steal mommy away from her! And also welcome to byc!
