Update.

I candled again and to my surprise one of the magpie eggs had developed a few veins! The one Pekin cross egg is very dark and can see the air cell ever so slightly growing bigger. The other Pekin cross egg has a weird circle like vein but I had read and I was not a blood ring. It’s just a very fragile embryo. I am super stoked! Hopefully they will get along with my Pekins-magpies-khakis

Also I threw out three of four magpie eggs due to infertility. That leaves 3 eggs in the ‘bator

They are doing well! Sorry for not responding earlier. I have been very busy. The magpie eggs have been tossed because they died very young. Only 2-3 veins. sad but pumpkin! I can’t even see into her egg with the candler! She is such a fast grower. I think I have heard a few peeps

Maybe it’s in my head. She is due to hatch between September 15-17.
