Get flock raiser! I bought ducks from TSC that were fed chick starter... One had legs that were bent in a 90 degree angle because it had a niacin deficiency.

Get flock raiser! I bought ducks from TSC that were fed chick starter... One had legs that were bent in a 90 degree angle because it had a niacin deficiency.

Ha, well I can't really find the duck pellets in big enough bags for my crew either. Get the Purina flock raiser crumbles and then get some nutritional yeast and use 1 Tbls per cup of food. I get it on Amazon. Then get some B-complex at TSC to have on hand which is loaded with niacin and will knock out any leg problems you start to have. I won't be without it!

hey another question, can ducks have catnip? we had an orphan duckling this summer (who is the reason we are getting our own ducks) who would share catnip with our cat whenever he ate it
