I got another pip! This one is super interesting to me because it had a lot of clear space on the pointy end of the egg as well as a good air cell. Really small chick. So much that I marked it with a pencil as a maybe not.

oh my gosh the amount of chirping i hear is crazy!!! one excited mama over here ha ha deff wont be getting any sleep tonight.
so an update on my 12... 3 have pipped.. and a few more are rocking like crazy and chirping. day 20 tomorrow.

That's awesome! I hope you have some chicks by morning. My first piper is starting to crack the original hole bigger. I think I hear some chirping in there. I figured mine were a little late so I'm hoping tomorrow brings some chicks at some point. I started day 21 as of an hour ago.

My homemade incubator has a terrible window so pics aren't an option. :-( The first pip chick has now broken out a quarter inch square. The check is now Looking out of a little window. Hopefully the zipping starts soon. Next update is in the am and I hope to see a chick on its feet!

I wonder who is siting looking at chicken TV at this time of the night. I was wondering about the teacher's pets now I know. tomorrow you will be able to say been there done that now I'm going to go get that T. shirt. You know what they say sleep is for people without eggs hatching.
