First Time Egg Candler Scared!

Shipped eggs seem to be quite a challenge, but possible, so good luck.

Hey Cole, are you gonna get any sleep tonite? Lol
Not much, I am going to watch Netflix, and check on pips every 45mins or so. Is they pipped at 6pm. Around what time do you think they would hatch?

First one usually takes the longest. Typically you are looking at 12-18 hours. But 6 wouldn't surprise me, nor would 24 lol. As Amy said... When they are ready lol.

Hang in there man. If you can wait 45 min your more patient than me.

Incubating my first set of eggs and feel like the proverbial "worried hen".... so exciting, day 5 now. Picked up eggs from pure Araucana and Cream Legbar breeder a few hours north of me. I have Americana and Australorps on our family hobby farm. Such fun! What is happening to this normal woman that now loves chickens!?? I read these posts often and want to join into this group of great chick lovers!
