Chirping
I am not going to open the bator until I take him out. No more pips but I hope to get another chick or two. Is it normal to lose so many during lockdown? Or is it normal for some to be 2 day behind the others?Ted is a cute name. Looks like another black? Is he moving much? The cord should come off by itself, as he gets some strength and starts moving around more. If you really want to try to remove it, you could crunch the shell and get the majority of it off, and just leave the piece of shell where its attached. I'm getting worried about your other eggs though. You've been in and out of the bator a lot. I'm assuming your humidity has been staying up there. I don't think you want to go through another Ted.
