So I guess Minnesota is COLD, huh? I’d be miserable - I’m such a cold wimp - grew up in Florida and never really developed a good cold tolerance.

We get a drier cold here. Minnesota has higher humidity so the cold hurts worse.

The fence is 3’ I had to use a sled to bring water and food to the coop

The road is somewhere down by that third pole in the back. Haha.
I hate winter so much. These pictures make me cringe knowing that we are only a couple months away from having all that again.
We have been talking a lot about moving to Florida. I’ve always wanted to live down there.

Wow!!! Just so surreal to me! I like skiiing but I would have a tough time surviving your weather. I can’t imagine how you keep livestock alive in that...

Edited to add: I still have family in Florida so I visit regularly. I don’t really like FL very much at this point. It’s just SO crowded! All of the environmental degradation really saddens me too.

It can be very depressing. Cabin fever is a real thing up here.

It is sad what’s happened to the environment down there, well, everywhere really.
I just love how different it is compared to the north. I’ve lived here all my life, but I’m tired of the cold.

You could move to Oklahoma! Lots of cheap land and a lot warmer than you!

Yeah - or Virginia. 50s to 70s right now. Will get to 20 F in winter but rarely below 0 F. Summers are hot and humid and weeds grow like wild, but it is very pretty. When we have 0.5" of snow everyone panics and the schools close, ha ha.
I would not move to Florida because of the humidity and the heat and now also rising sea levels...

West Virginia has been brought up a few times. My husband likes it out there. Virginia could be even better since it’s just a little farther south.
The humidity is a concern. I like to think I could deal with humidity easier then the bitter cold we have up here.
