Well, I have 11 babies out!

4 barnyard mutts from a friend, they're either Giant Black Cochins, or Domiques. Two of them look like BC ( Black Cochins ), and then the other two I have no clue what they are! lol

3 Black Ams and 4 Lav Ams are out. 19 eggs to go! No more pips or zips so we'll see what is in the 'bator in the morning.

Oh, one of the mutt chicks died in the shell. It looks like it had gotten a piece of sack of something over it's nose and couldn't breath.

So, you guys with peeps, pips, and babies out, when did you set yours?

I'm not getting anything yet. I set me Friday the 8th, 6pm local time.
Should I be seeing something yet?

Marty

Yay mrs FP! Cochin babies are soo cute..

My eggs were set on thursday 7th and friday 8th (had some late arriving shipped eggs so had to do a split), so tomorrow and friday are my due dates. Heard more peeping this morning

To early to start worrying yet

Leave it Marty, opening it won't help - just make sure there is water in the bottom channels. I refill mine with a thin rubber catheter that fits through the ventilation holes at the bottom of my incubator. You can raise the humidity too much, so don't flood the bottom. I have not been able to get mine above 55% this hatch for some reason, but looks like things are going ok anyway.
