First time hatcher with incubator

Trying to stay away. Not opening incubator but I'm looking through the side of it. 4 children where easy, 9 chicks in egg and my guts are twisted up.

They are fun. Heck any baby is fun. We have so many being born throughout the year that it’s almost numbed me over the years. Calves, pigs, goats, poultry, sheep, etc. we are on the beginning on a farrowing cycle right now too. And calving season is gearing up.

Outstanding! I have chickens hatching as we speak. Lots more quail and chickens cooking too. And more loaded tomorrow or Sunday.
Nice. I'm looking to build a cabinet incubator soon but having trouble finding out how they work. Do you know of an article or site I can look up? Need bigger set up made in the next 6 months.

This is probably the best site for seeing several homemade ones. I’ve built all of mine several years ago as well as my hatchers. (3 cabinets and 5 hatchers). Getting ready to build another cabinet as well. Best thing I can tell you is to copy a working one and tailor to what you want. They are pretty simple. Mine all have autoturners all the same stuff you get in a factory one. Top shelf houses fan, heat source, humidity pail, and all the controls. Fan blows across heat source to the front and then down. Airflow makes a big circle mixing and then is sucked up to the top rear through the fan.
