First time hatchers hatch A-long!

Just two as of right now have hatched, lots of pips and this little one keeps sticking it's beak out. No idea how long it can take some to get from pip to zip, thoughts?

It can take over 24 hours.

It can take a while. I had some take over 24 hrs in my 2nd batch.

So far I have 10 out of 13 little fluffs!! 4 Easter egger. 4 olive eggers and 1 little Maran. The two other eggs I’m waiting on are the marans. And Iv heard they take a little longer.

Up to 5 fully hatched now and 5 more about to bust through any time this is the only light chick so far

This morning there are so many hatched that I can't even tell how many or what's left lol I know they say not to open while on lockdown but I'm going to have to so I can remove the sea of fluffy chicks and then asses what is left to hatch. I'm setting up my brooder in the barn today and will move them in there so I'll share more pics!

Oh good to know! Then I definitely will! Just waiting for my lunch break today to get them moved. I can't wait to see how many we have!

Lol! Is that the Official method? I love it! I'm gonna have my BF lift the lid so I can just Grab Plop and he can close it immediately lol
