First time hatching! Ducks

Happy to help! :)

I'd take it out of the cup tomorrow (it may even flop out of there on it's own when it gets stronger). The duckling is still inside the egg in the cup right now, right? By tomorrow the navel should definitely be closed up and duckling hopefully more active and moving around.

The duckling in the cup is still alive, but no progress. Duckling that hatched is walking around cleaning itself

I'm subscribing.
I have 8 in the incubator all but 2 have external pips. My first duck hatch. Chickens would be nearly done by now... First external pips were yesterday around noon, first internal pips happened on day 25 (day 28 today)...
Good luck to you!

Glad the hatched guy is up and about! Neck is normal now I assume? And how is that last one, any more progress on it?

Do you mean the duck in a cup (had to say it, lol) still has the open navel? It hasn't really been that long yet, so don't worry too much at this point. Glad it's still alive and kicking!

I took the top part of the egg off of the duck in a cup, she was wearing herself out kicking, she pushed out as soon as I did that, we don't have that medicine, can I use triple antibiotic? Or can you tell me the ingredients that shouldn't be used on her navel, it is only a small hole and she got that poopy goop on it.
Thank you so much!
The last egg is cracking the shell around the top

You can use antibiotic gel/ointment, but only if it does NOT have pain reliever in it. Apparently the pain reliever they use in those for humans is very bad for ducks and chickens. If you don't have that, a little warm water with a tiny bit of gentle soap on the navel should be fine if you're concerned about that goop getting into the open hole there. Just rinse it well without getting the rest of her wet, then back into incubator or under heat. How is she doing otherwise? Is the navel hole getting smaller? You said she was kicking alot to get out, so that's a good sign she is active.

Great to hear the last one is unzipping now as well! :D Don't disrupt this last guy that's hatching again just to clean cup duck's navel though. If you can wait until the last one is out that would be much better for all. Then you don't have to worry about losing humidity. They don't need the humidity any more once they are all out.

Bed time here in Sweden, so I will check on things in the morning. Good luck! ^-^

Thank you so much, it isn't doing well, I went horseback riding and came back to check on it and it keeps flopping upside down. I wrapped it in a dry washcloth so it can't flop upside down anymore, leaving it in the washcloth in the incubator, so hopefully it will pull through. It was banging it's head on the incubator from flopping around, got a red mark on it's head, but since I wrapped it up it's sleeping. Hoping it will stay still until it can pick it's head up to balance
