So staying dry, I can only get the humidity up to 16%. That won't do will it? Ahhhh this is stressful.

Wet a sponge and set it in there. Mine was about 16%-20% totally dry. I've just been keeping a damp/wet sponge in there and it's been averaging in the 30% area. 101 is better, but that's not bad. Humidity sounds ok, as long as you make sure you check the air cells at days 7&14 to check the size.
